As of January 1, 2010 IDEAL INDUSTRIES has merged its European sales operations with Trend Communications to form the IDEAL INDUSTRIES NETWORKS DIVISION.
Since February 2004, Trend Communications has operated under its own brand as a separate independent subsidiary of IDEAL INDUSTRIES Inc. and is recognised world wide as a leader in hand held test equipment for xDSL, ISDN and Gigabit Ethernet testing.
IDEAL on the other hand generates a substantial amount of its European revenues from products and services targeted at the LAN (local area network) installation market.
